Our staff at Sam’s Mobile Signs will deliver and strategically place the Variable Message Sign in the optimal location on your premises or nature strip to ensure it is visible to the highest amount of foot and vehicle traffic, and so that it follows the local governing authorities regulations and requirements. Once the hire has ended, our staff will come and remove the VMS sign, making it easy and hassle-free for you!

Sam’s Mobile Signs offers two sizes of LED sign boards for hire. We have A-size, which is our small VMS board and C-size which is our large VMS board. Both sizes are available in either 5- colour LED boards (red, green, blue, amber, white) or amber-only LED boards.
A-size LED signs measure 1040mm (height) x 1610mm (width).
C-size LED signs measure 1840mm (height) x 2730 (width).

Our VMS board hire services are available throughout the entire Victoria region. While we have a strong presence in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley, our clientele extends to Geelong, Ballarat, Leongatha, and all the areas in between.

Our hire periods for VMS signs can vary greatly, ranging from a few days to several years. There is no specific “typical” hire duration. However, for businesses that have occasional sales or events, we suggest a minimum of a 1 week hire, with the best value and effectiveness achieved with a 4-week hire. Businesses with frequent sales or events have the opportunity to benefit from even lower hire rates by opting for a hire period of 3 months or more. Sam’s Mobile Signs provides same day delivery for urgent requests, ensuring an efficient service. However, during certain periods, there may be limited availability of VMS boards. To secure your desired starting date, we recommend reaching out to us at least a week in advance. For even greater convenience and peace of mind, it is highly recommended to reserve a sign with us a month or more prior to your planned usage.

No – Our VMS units are all equipped with high-rated solar panels and backup batteries to keep your messages displayed 24/7 using 100% renewable solar energy. However, if there is no access to sunlight (such as being undercover or in extremely shady areas), there is the option to plug them into a power source.
